Frequently Asked Questions

Fundraising - all riders must raise at least $150 in addition to their registration fee in order to ride bike MS: Cruisin the Crossroads. Have questions about fundraising? Contact Joe Pickard at (800) 344-4867 or joe.pickard@nmss.org .

Youth Riders/Waivers - Safety is our first concern with bike MS. Please read about cycling safety, and our requirements for young cyclists.

All riders must sign a Standard Waiver. Riders under age 18 must review our youth rider requirements, and provide a Waiver--Ages 12 to 17 signed by their parent or legal guardian. All riders must be over the age of 12.  Documents open in a new window.

Shuttle Service - The National MS Society will provide a shuttle from the finish line back to the start line on Saturday, September 26th. Times are TBD. There is no shuttle service back to the start line on Sunday.

Luggage - Riders are allowed to check one personal bag, as well as a sleeping bag and pillow. All luggage will be transported from the start to the finish and back.

Family and friends - Family and Friends are welcome along the route, at rest stops and at the finish line. We cannot encourage the use of personal sag vehicles. Our goal is to keep roads as traffic free as possible.

Family and friends may ride the train from Forest Park to Atlanta for $15, payable at the Indiana Transportation Museum on event day. Unfortunately, the antique train cars are not handicap accessible at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience, and are working with the Indiana Transportation Museum to get a grant to cover this for future rides.
